You Voted for the Wrong Person

Most people have no clue what their candidate really stands for other than a few carefully crafted stump speeches explicitly designed to connect on three or four buzzwords like Immigration, Taxes, and Crime.

The TV news is even worse. Their sound bites are played over and over, with their only goal being that of improving ratings. While the print media is so biased towards one party or another, you can believe nothing they say.

Add in the massive ad spend on social media distorting the truth at every turn, and you are left clueless as to what your candidates’ actions might really be when in office.

During the 2016 campaign, before the final candidates had been picked and there were still a dozen people in the race, I took a 50-question quiz. It was a very well-thought-out quiz by a non-partisan group that asked precise questions on crime, education, abortion, foreign policy, etc. It asked the type of profound and far-reaching questions that governments must answer every day and provided much more meaningful answers to my concerns than simply voting republican or democrat, labor or conservative.

The results of my test were definitive. 96% confident that Ran Paul, a libertarian, is whom I should vote for based solely on how I felt about the issues involved and what his positions were on each of those issues. This was…
