Success Has No Favorites Anyone Can Do It!
Many people kill the chances of reaching their full potential, financial or otherwise, by giving themselves excuses. Despite what you hear many people say, you are never too young or too old for success. The reason I know this to be true is simple: there are literally thousands of shining examples of success from every single age group, ethnic background, and educational standing.
Age is Not an Excuse
Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Computer, was a billionaire at the age of twenty-nine after starting out in his garage. Mark Zuckerberg, cofounder of Facebook, was even younger. Colonel Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, started his business when he was sixty-six years old and did not become very wealthy until he was well into his seventies.
Education is not an Excuse
Many people feel they are undereducated and should wait until they have some kind of degree before they embark on their mission toward success. This too is a falsehood. Many of the people on the Forbes 400, the annual survey of the four hundred richest people in America, did not earn a college degree. That list has included Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein, J. D. Rockefeller, Walt Disney, Ray Kroc, Ted Turner, and Oprah Winfrey, to name just a few.
