I am in Phuket Thailand and it’s over run with Russians. Most Russian men are ugly. They have short, cropped hair or are bald. They have a big guts, stubby noses, and multiple tattoos. About half have beards, and there is no love in their faces even on vacation.

The pretty Russian women are all slim with fake breasts and Botox lips. While the regular mama type are usually chunky and often wear scarfs on their head covering dyed hair in a weird shade of dark red. Whichever type of Russian women you see they all pout and do not look happy. Even though they are swimming in beautiful 80-degree water in Thailand while their countrymen send daily missile attacks on Ukraine trying freeze families to death.

These are not the Russian elite they dress poorly, stay in cheap hotels, and eat at the many Russian owned restaurants here in Patong. There are thousands of middle-class Russians here when they only place, they should be allowed to vacation is Iran or North Korea.

The truth is the sanctions have had very little effect on everyday life in Russia. There are so many Russians here they swapped German for Russian as one of the three language choices on menus, along with English and Thai.
