Thank you, I left for the same reason in 1998, the home I bought in Florida was far larger for half the price. My road tax went from $1200 to $100. . I just bought a new home this week, $325,00, 3 bed 3 baths in a high-end golf community North of Tampa. I spend 3 months each summer in Europe with the money I save in state taxes. The move had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with lifestyle. I can't even vote as I have a British passport.
