You can learn a lot about a person by asking about their favorite movies. For years, I’ve used this question to spark conversations and connections at my seminars, and it never fails to reveal something unique about each person.

Now, it’s my turn to share. These films have left an indelible mark on my heart and mind, spanning decades of cinematic history. From timeless classics to groundbreaking storytelling, each movie on this list has a special place for its memorable characters, compelling plots, and the emotional journeys they offer. All of these movies also provide great lessons in life!

I’d love to hear some of your favorites, too, so post in the comments below.

1. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)

A witty and action-packed Western that follows the exploits of two charismatic outlaws, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, as they rob trains and banks while evading a relentless posse. Their bond, humor, and misadventures make this a timeless tale of friendship and rebellion.

2. The Green Mile (1999)
