I am English and have lived in America since I was 18. It was the best move I have ever made. The opportunities are immense. The people are friendly, helpful, and supportive of success. The latter cannot be said of the UK. They hate success!

I am back in the UK for six weeks every year (I am there now), and it gets worse every year; it's a failed state on so many levels.

Yes, the US has issues, and there are some things that are better in Britain, but to work, live, and have an amazing standard of living, the USA still has everyone beat!

Is America a little arrogant, about being the best? Maybe, but like Muhammad Ali said, "It ain't bragging if it's true!"
