To build a great personal brand you must state your claim. Exactly what do you want to be known for, and how famous do you want to be?

What position do you want to own in the minds of your fans, customers or clients?

The clearer you are on what you want to be known as, the easier it will be to line up the tools behind that goal to make it happen. You may want to be the best lawyer, realtor, salesperson, accountant, investment advisor, doctor, instructor, band, expert, or specific business. How far must your fame reach to be effective in helping you reach your goals in your company, town, city, county, state, country or world? Whatever your answer, it all starts with claiming your position.

There were lots of great fighters before Mohamed Ali and lots of famous champions. None came close to achieving the fame Ali did because none understood the elements of fame like he did.
